Sunday, March 17

Happy Sunday! We had a big week last week and we have another coming up! This is a busy time of year in the school world. Friday we held another clothing and toy swap. It was a huge success! Thank you to all of you who donated items, thank you to those of you who put in so much muscle and sweat to getting it ready and set up and thank you to those of you who came to the event. We had many people from the community take advantage who are not directly associated with Westbrook and that is our goal! We also had families we met through our Holiday Hopes and Wishes mailbox come and shop! That is what it is all about. We will continue holding clothing and toy swaps and our dream is that it continues to get bigger and bigger!

Our choir also had a very big week! We hosted the Roseville Community Band and our choir sang two songs. The band teacher at Chilton was the conductor and she said the Westbrook choir is by far the best youth choir she has ever heard! I already knew that, but I may be partial.

And finally, our choir attended a Roseville Schools Music Festival at Junction Elementary on Saturday. We have the largest number of students in our choir, by far! That is in thanks to Mr. Marmorstein who welcomes everyone in and to his amazing assistants. We are so lucky!

OPEN HOUSE!!! This Thursday, 3/21. Classrooms are open from 5-6pm and there will be food trucks from 4-7pm. Come hang out with Westbrook families and see the great things your children are doing in their classrooms each day.

IMPORTANT!!! Thursday, 3/21, is also a MINIMUM DAY! Students are released at 12:32 (kinder); 12:42pm.

Lost and Found! Come look through the lost and found. It has grown quite a bit! We will be donating these items over Spring Break.

Move-A-Thon:
It is coming... the 1st Annual Westbrook Move-A-Thon and it is going to be incredible!! At Westbrook, we don't know how to do things any other way. Of course, we need your help to make this as big as we dream.

Craft Club Supplies Needed: Speaking of our awesome community, we have started some different clubs at lunch at they are a HUGE hit!! We have a game club and a craft club. There are some supplies we could use to keep it going. If you could donate any of the following items, the students would be forever grateful!

These things would be helpful:

ink pads
