Happy Halloween from the Westbrook staff!! Thank you to all of you that came along with us on our costume parade, helped out with classroom activities, and sorted shirts! I say it time and time again, but the love and support from our community is like no other.

I took a couple of trips into the 'wild' this weekend. One was to the craft fair at John. L Sullivan Park and the other was a walk through the Winding Creek neighborhood. In both places, I saw so many families and kids!! I love that there are so many children in these neighborhoods and that they spend so much time together. It really shows what a community we are and I feel lucky to be a part of it!

Reminder: No school on Monday and Tuesday! The teachers will be busy learning, but I hope the children will be getting some extra rest! We will see you Wednesday, 11/1. You may want to set an alarm for pick up. That is a Wednesday, so the students are released at 12:42pm. I tend to forget those things after a long weekend.

Grade Level Shirts: The grade level shirts are coming your way!! This has been a HUGE undertaking! Traci, and a team of many, put hours into sorting and delivering. This Wednesday is going to be our first official grade level spirit day! Wear your grade level shirt this Wednesday and every Wednesday from now on!

Upcoming Skate Nights:
Don't worry, we do not have a skate night this week😂 Our skate night last week had pretty light attendance, which I think was due to the fact that it was a busy week, but also because I felt like it snuck up on me. I wanted to share the skate night dates for the rest of the year, so you can put them on your calendar. They are such a fun night for both kids and adults.
Our Skate Night Dates are:
December 13
February 7
March 6
April 3

Dates to Remember:
October 30 and 31- NO SCHOOL (Professional Development Days for teachers.)
November 10: No School- Veteran's Day
November 13-17: Conference Week
November 20-24: Thanksgiving Break 🙌
