Happy Sunday Families! On Friday, our Read Across America Week culminated with Jesse Bennett reading one of her books and a Read a Thon. The students covered our campus with books and blankets. My heart was full!! Every once and awhile, I have to remind myself that everything we do is the first time we have done it. If you saw this event, you would never believe it. It was just the way it should be! After Jesse read, she would not stop talking about how well behaved our students are and how involved our staff is. Let me tell you, those two things go hand in hand! 

And if you watched the ROCKstar Report, you know that applicants were sharing how Westbrook is known around the district and that there are a lot of people talking about us. We are seen as innovators and trend setters. What a special place to be! It goes way beyond the staff at our school, people are also talking about our incredible parents and community. We are so fortunate to have one another and be in this together! You ROCK!!! 💙💛


Tomorrow Morning!! FILL THE CONE!! Bring some change to fill our cone to kick off our Move a Thon Fundraiser. The cone will be out on Mondays and Fridays in the front and back. I have a good feeling about tomorrow morning. I can't wait to see those cones. 


Craft Club Supplies Needed: Speaking of our awesome community, we have started some different clubs at lunch at they are a HUGE hit!! We have a game club and a craft club. There are some supplies we could use to keep it going. If you could donate any of the following items, the students would be forever grateful!

watercolors
googly eyes
beads
pastels
tissue paper
cotton balls
ink pads

BIG NEWS!! We are taking a whole school picture on Wednesday, 3/13! This is a picture of Westbrook's inaugural students and staff for our yearbook. Please have your child wear their grade level shirt or school shirt. 


Spring Pictures: This Thursday, 3/14. All students will take a picture and will receive a QR code to bring home for you to order. We will also be taking class pictures as we have added so many new students. 


BIG NEWS: Westbrook will be hosting the Roseville Community Band this Thursday, 3/14, from 7-8pm. Our choir will be singing two songs with them!! It is going to be incredible and everyone is invited!! 


Clothing Swap this Friday, 3/15, from 4-7pm. Drop donations off this week from 7:30-4pm, and come 'shop' this Friday from 4-7pm.

  Well, Hello March! I cannot believe March is upon us. The rest of the year is absolutely going to fly by. It is nuts! The kids have grown so much this year and made so many friends. It is going to be hard to part for summer, but I am not even going to think about that yet! Happy Sunday, Families! In true Westbrook style, we are finishing the year with a bang! Our First Responders Day was absolutely amazing and there were so many of our parents participating! What a gift! I don't think I will surprise anyone when I say I think it will be even bigger next year!  This image is funny because A) we are almost at the end of the school year and B) I will be on you about parking lot procedures next year, too!! 😂 Field Day: Field Day is this Wednesday! It is going to be so fun. This is not an event where parents can come watch, but you can definitely come help!
