Happy Sunday Families! It may seem strange, but now is when I start planning for the upcoming school year. Crazy right? And to think we haven't even finished our very first year. As I am planning, I am so excited about things to come. We had to remain focused as we opened this year and not spread our resources too thin. Well, we now have our feet under ourselves and are ready to take on some new things this Spring and next year. So exciting!! Stay tuned for some incredible things to come!


New Events Coming: At our PTC meeting on Friday, we discussed some new events coming our way! 
One is another Toy and Clothing Swap on March 15 from 4-7pm. We would love to have even more people take advantage of this opportunity! You can drop off donations from March 11-14 in the front office from 7:30am-3:30pm.

Next up is the Move-a-Thon fundraiser on April 12. This will be a really fun event and we would love your help! See below for how to sign up. 

Then, we are going to have a First Responders Day on May 16th. If you are a first responder and interested in participating let me know! 



Move-A-Thon: It is coming... the 1st Annual Westbrook Move-A-Thon and it is going to be incredible!! At Westbrook, we don't know how to do things any other way. Of course, we need your help to make this as big as we dream. There is a PTC meeting on 2/23 at 6pm where we will start the planning. Add it to your calendar now! Parenting Tips: I am going to add a section on the blog to include some parenting tips or helpful articles. As a parent myself, I am always looking for ways to learn and improve so I can be the best support for my own children.

I think that often we try to shield our children from challenges and/or disappointment, but it is so vital they learn how to work through these things. Allow your child to work through tough things, experience disappointment and even fail!

  Well, Hello March! I cannot believe March is upon us. The rest of the year is absolutely going to fly by. It is nuts! The kids have grown so much this year and made so many friends. Happy Sunday, Families! In true Westbrook style, we are finishing the year with a bang! Our First Responders Day was absolutely amazing and there were so many of our parents participating! What a gift! I don't think I will surprise anyone when I say I think it will be even bigger next year!  This image is funny because A) we are almost at the end of the school year and B) I will be on you about parking lot procedures next year, too!! 😂 Field Day: Field Day is this Wednesday! It is going to be so fun. This is not an event where parents can come watch, but you can definitely come help!
