Happy Sunday and welcome to November! On Friday, we recognized Cooperative students. I love how excited our students are to celebrate their classmates. We also sang our school song together for the first time. Mr. Marmorstein has been teaching the students this song in music class and it is the best song. He and the students created the song together which makes it even more meaningful. Enjoy!

I think 80% of
our teachers had teary eyes by the end of that song. Every time I hear it, my heart is full! πŸ’™πŸ’›

Upcoming Events: We have many upcoming events this month and next! Take advantage of the Dine Out on Tuesday at Tomatina. We all know odds are pretty good you need to go to Target anyway, so why not pick up dinner on your way homeπŸ˜‚

November 10: No School in honor of Veteran's Day.

November 13-17 is conference week.  Students are released each day at 11:25 am. Be sure to arrange your schedule and childcare to accommodate change. Also, we will have hot lunch available, but suggest you feed your child lunch at home. For children at Adventure Club and Right at School, we will be working with them to provide lunch.

Many teachers have mentioned they haven't had many parents sign up for a conference time. Please be sure to sign up for a conference with your child's teacher. I love conferences. You get to learn about how your child is doing in class and you get to chat with their teacher.

The end of that week will be a Toy and Clothing swap. Please drop things off during the week and come take advantage of the swap on Friday the 17th.

Mark your calendars for December 1: The evening of December 1st from 5-8pm will be a Parent's Night Out. You can drop your children off with familiar faces and then go enjoy a few hours of fun and quiet. $30 per child, $75 max per family.

December 14: Season of Giving Craft and Maker Fair! This is the evening the neighborhood Santa comes through the neighborhood. If this is your first holiday season in Roseville, it is really cool. Santa and his elves come through the streets of Roseville. We are going to make this quite an event at Westbrook and are partnering with the Solaire Neighborhood Association! More details to follow.
