A HUGE thank you to the crew that worked tirelessly to make it happen! Traci Davis, Lauren Tameguia, Whitney Ignacio and Tahnee Hodge. I know there are many more of you who helped, but the list would go on forever! Together we were able to accomplish some pretty amazing things.
Also, Marci Martinez, an IA at Westbrook, and her daughter provided the photo booth, which was super fun! And Mrs. Castle's husband wins the 'Saved the Day' award as he provided the light towers! When everyone pulls together and chips in, you can do just about anything.
Skate Night: Guess what! We have a skate night this Wednesday! When I scheduled them last year, I had no idea it would fall on such a fun week. Lucky us!! It is this Wednesday, 10/25, from 6-8pm. We will see you there!Halloween Parade: Then for our next big event, The Halloween Parade!! We are going to make this a very special event and cross the street into the Heritage Solaire neighborhood. They have been big supporters of our school and they don't have trick or treaters, so we are going to brighten their day with very cute kids in costumes. As parents, you can walk with the children or line our parking lot and sidewalks along the route! It is going to be awesome!
Art Class: Playful Minds is offering an art class after school at Westbrook. Go to their website to register:
We are trying to add additional after school enrichment opportunities.
