Hello Families! Last week was a great week! This is a picture of our first Friday Flag Salute. It is fun to see the kids fill these spaces and even more fun to learn we have extra space to work with! The first Flag Salute was definitely a success even though my microphone died early on. Ugh!! Mrs. Brooks needs to remember to plug it in on Thursdays!!

Attendance Message: Attendance plays a very important role in our students' success. I know that sometimes you cannot avoid keeping your child home from school, but overall, it is so difficult for the students to catch up on missed learning opportunities. We love to have your children at school.

Book Fair: The book fair is here Monday and Tuesday after school from 2-4pm. We really appreciate all of the parents that have been helping! We also appreciate your incredible generosity and all of the donated books. We are going to have a wonderful library for our students! 

Snowie King: In my video on Friday, I said Snowie King will be here every Friday. It will actually be here every other Friday. The next day it will come is September 1. 

Alternative Route to School: The stop sign at Solaire and Silver Spruce is wonderful, but it causes quite a back up. I wanted to share an alternative route that will improve traffic flow. You can take Pleasant Grove to Daylight Drive or Santucci to come from the opposite direction. You can also exit the parking lot to the left and use these streets to get back to Pleasant Grove.

  Well, Hello March! I cannot believe March is upon us. The rest of the year is absolutely going to fly by. It is nuts! The kids have grown so much this year and made so many friends. Happy Sunday, Families! In true Westbrook style, we are finishing the year with a bang! Our First Responders Day was absolutely amazing and there were so many of our parents participating! What a gift! I don't think I will surprise anyone when I say I think it will be even bigger next year!  This image is funny because A) we are almost at the end of the school year and B) I will be on you about parking lot procedures next year, too!! 😂 Field Day: Field Day is this Wednesday! It is going to be so fun. This is not an event where parents can come watch, but you can definitely come help!
