  Happy Sunday Families! The end of our first year is giving me all the feels. How can it be the end of our first year already? Last year at this time, I was wondering what everything would look like and hoping things would go well. And now, I have seen and experienced all of the things we made happen together. What a year! What a feeling! It has been incredible. I probably say this all the time but I want you to know that when people from around the district come to our school, they always say 'it feels different.' They say things like: It feels 'lighter,' 'so positive,' and 'welcoming.' Every time people say these things, I beam with pride and feel so lucky to be a part of it.   Hello Families! This is the count at this very moment!! There is no way we are NOT going to hit our goal!! If you have one more person to ask, ask!! This site closes down tonight, so this is our very last push!  That being said, I do not want you to think I am not thankful for all of the donations we have received. In fact, I am absolutely blown away by everyone's generosity. I happened to be a uber competitive, goal driven person and cannot accept being so close! In my mind, being this close is like second place. I do not like second place. OK, enough about my issues!!! LET'S DO THIS!!!  The Westbrook Move A Thon Store opens this week. The teachers will be taking their classes to shop at designated times. The top 10 earners will get to shop first.  AND!! BIG NEWS!! Our 3 raffle winners from MoJoe's Scoop Night will also shop first!   Happy Sunday, Westbrook!  BREAKING NEWS: Westbrook did it again! We held another incredibly successful event! Our first Move A Thon was a huge success. The biggest thank you to those who planned it, those who volunteered, those who cheered and those who fundraised!!! I believe that includes each and every one of you and that is what it is all about. We brought in a great deal of money and almost every cent of it goes directly back to the school. A small amount went to prizes for the kids, but pretty much all of it is going right back to Westbrook. We cannot wait to use it to add some things to our campus and give back to our teachers and classrooms. Your students will benefit from your incredible generosity. I can't believe that at this moment, we are just shy of raising $50,000 dollars. That is out of this world!!!   Happy Sunday! The image search I put in today was 'try to keep up' because, as I have mentioned before, Spring is crazy! What do you know? One of my favorite scenes from one of my favorite shows came up. Any other fans out there?  Ok, enough about that. This is a BIG week!! This week is dedicated to our first ever Move a Thon happening THIS Friday!! It is going to be a very fun event for the kids. We are also hoping it brings in a lot of money to support our students and teachers. Please send the 99pledges link/email to as many people as possible!
