  Hello Families! I can always tell how busy I am busy by how many pictures I take! I do not have many pictures of the great things happening on campus this week, so I must be busy! Ha! Hence, the beautiful picture above. If you are following us on Instagram, you probably saw this already, but this was painted by a local artist connected to one of our teachers. The painting is incredible and we are so thankful for his generous gift! Again, the generosity of this community absolutely blows me away! Speaking of generosity, thank you for all of the donations to our library! I heard a couple concerns and questions as to why we need books for our library and I wanted to address them. We do get a generous budget to start our library. Unfortunately, library bound books are pricey and that budget does not necessarily fill the library.   Hello Families! Last week was a great week! This is a picture of our first Friday Flag Salute. It is fun to see the kids fill these spaces and even more fun to learn we have extra space to work with! The first Flag Salute was definitely a success even though my microphone died early on. Ugh!! Mrs. Brooks needs to remember to plug it in on Thursdays!! Attendance Message : Attendance plays a very important role in our students' success. I know that sometimes you cannot avoid keeping your child home from school, but overall, it is so difficult for the students to catch up on missed learning opportunities.   Hello Westbrook! Welcome to the Westbrook Family Blog. Each week, I send a video on Friday and a blog on Sunday. This particular blog design is work in progress as I have not quite figured out the settings yet. It might be fun to watch it change and improve. We had a wonderful celebration on Thursday and a great day on Friday! This week brings more normalcy and we will work through some of the remaining kinks. One of the biggest things that could use a little refining is the drop off procedure. I have created a video to point out some important spots and hopefully clear up some confusion. I hope the video helps. Here are some important details and changes: 1) Breakfast will be available at 7:15am. This is 5 min earlier. The access door is outside the front gate and there are signs to help. 2) Big Change! All gates will open at 7:25am, also 5 min earlier.
