Oh my goodness! We are heading into our last week of school. It is surreal. Just think for a moment, remember our first day of school? Doesn't that feel like yesterday? I can remember every second of that day and it definitely does not seem like very long ago. At the same time, I am already thinking about the first day of school next year.  This time of year is nuts. It is so busy I can't even keep track from one week to the next. I was laying in bed Saturday morning, wondering why my body felt like it had been hit by a truck, when I realized Field Day was last Wednesday! It seemed like at least a week ago. I even forgot to mention it in the ROCKstar Report. Our first field day was a huge success and that is in great part to all of you! Thank you to all of our parent volunteers who helped that morning. Happy Sunday, Families! In true Westbrook style, we are finishing the year with a bang! Our First Responders Day was absolutely amazing and there were so many of our parents participating! What a gift! I don't think I will surprise anyone when I say I think it will be even bigger next year!  This image is funny because A) we are almost at the end of the school year and B) I will be on you about parking lot procedures next year, too!! 😂 Field Day: Field Day is this Wednesday! It is going to be so fun. This is not an event where parents can come watch, but you can definitely come help!   Happy Mother's Day to all of you Super Mom's out there!! I hope you are spoiled and get the opportunity to relax. However, being moms, I know better😉 I took a Mother's Day walk with Matty Maggiacomo this morning. (Where are my other Peloton Mommas out there??) And I cried. I didn't cry for any other reason than being a mom is so hard. We want what is best for our children and we want them to grow up to be awesome humans. Along the way, if you are like me, you doubt everything you do and wonder if you are doing it right. Here's to all of you who are doing the toughest job there is: Momming!!! And here is to all of you who support those strong mommas.  There are not words to express our gratitude for all of the spoiling you did this week. The teachers loved getting little things from the kids throughout the week. And you all went above and beyond with your donations for our staff room. It was unbelievable.
